Very famous for the McDermitt area at the boundary to Nevada are the thundereggs from the McDermitt beds. There are several beds, old digs, new digs, floaters and many more confusion.

A nice Cliff Bed double specimen filled with botryoidal chalcedony in blue, yellow and pink aswell as with sparkling calcite.

The Cottonwood Creek eggs are not real eggs, they are transitionals. They do have the patterns of both the nodules and the lithophysae agates.

A rather new bed in this area produces many strange looking eggs with a typical shape looking like 'Praying Hands'. So, that's the name of the bed.
