Pujiang
Pujiang

single: 47x54 mm

Besides the new breathtaking agates from Pujiang in China, there are also new thundereggs near that source. Here you can see some of those, which also can be awesome.

pair, yellow moss: 78x61 mm

pair, banding: 71x65 mm

Iran

Gonabad
Gonabad

size:

A new rarity in my collection: a Gonabad thunderegg specimen from Iran. Looks a bit like some Thurinigia forest eggs but the outside is pretty smooth.

Kazakhstan

Maiskoje

A typically large thunderegg from the source of Maiskoje in East Kazakhstan.

Turkey

Cubuk
Cubuk

size:

A typical dark patterned thunderegg-core with less pseudomorphs from Cubuk in Central Anatolia, Turkey.
Sorry for the bad scan!

The whole area called cubuk (= rod, pipe) seems to be full of many different types of agates, jaspers and thundereggs. There's unofrtunately no clear picture of the finding situation.

Here are some t-eggs samples with matrix:
